Puffball Or Quick Tea Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 cup sugar
    2 cups milk
    2 Tbsp. melted fat (butter)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 cups flour
Preparation
    Beat eggs, add sugar and milk.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add to liquid.
    Beat thoroughly and add melted fat.
    Add more flour to make a batter stiff enough to hold a spoon in a standing position.
    Drop by spoonsful into deep fat at 375\u00b0.
    Remove when brown and drain on absorbent paper towel.
    Yield approximately 4 dozen.
