Fresh Navy Bean Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. beans (canned or fresh)
1/2 lb. pumpkin, cut into small pieces
1/2 c. Sofrito (recipe follows)
salt to taste
1 small pkg. sasson
1 can tomato sauce
Preparation

Saute Sofrito, sasson and tomato sauce.
Add beans and pumpkin.
Cook over low heat until broth thickens.
Season to taste and remove from heat.
Serve with chicken and rice or with white rice.
