Busy Day Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. fresh peaches, sliced
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Combine peaches and 3/4 cup of sugar; let stand 20 minutes or place in saucepan on low heat to dissolve sugar.
    Melt margarine in a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
    Sift flour and 1 cup of sugar together. Add milk and stir briskly.
    Some lumps will remain.
    Pour into dish of melted margarine.
    Add peaches.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
