Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. beef stew meat
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 (7 oz.) jar stuffed olives
    1 can beef broth
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 medium green pepper
    1 box fresh mushrooms
    1 c. long grain wild rice (uncooked)
Preparation
    Brown the stew meat in olive oil.
    Add onion and simmer 2 minutes.
    Put all ingredients (except rice) in crock-pot.
    Cook for 4 to 5 hours.
    One hour before time to eat, add the rice.
    I only use 1/2 cup rice so that there will be more liquid.
    Use the liquid from the olives.
    I never add any extra salt.
    This stew freezes very well.
    I freeze small containers for later meals.
