Apple Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 slices loaf bread
    1 can applesauce
    1 1/2 c. milk
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 stick butter
Preparation
    Break 6 slices of bread into bite size pieces; place in buttered 9 x 11-inch baking dish.
    Pour applesauce over bread. Dot with 1/2 of butter.
    Break 6 remaining slices of bread over applesauce.
    Mix milk, sugar, egg and spices in blender or with mixer; pour over bread and applesauce.
    Dot with remaining butter. Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown on top (approximately 30 minutes).
