Apfel Kuchen (Apple Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/2 c. flaked coconut
2 1/2 c. sliced, pared apples
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. sour cream or plain yogurt
2 egg yolks or 1 egg

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cut margarine into dry cake mix until crumbly.
Mix in coconut.
Put mixture into a 13 x 9-inch pan, building up edges slightly.
Bake 10 minutes.
