Quick Yeast Buns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cake yeast
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 pt. lukewarm water
    1/2 c. lard
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water.
    Add sugar, salt and lard and mix enough flour for stiff dough.
    Let rise.
    Work down and rise second time.
    Work down; put in pans.
    Let rise and bake.
    Let dough double its size each raising.
    Keep in warm place.
    These buns can be made in five hours.
    Makes 24 bun size.
    Do not all have to be baked at once.
