Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. salad oil
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 c. crushed cornflakes
1 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. nuts
Preparation

Cream butter, oil and sugars.
Add egg and vanilla.
Gradually add flour, salt and soda.
Add cereal, coconut and nuts.
Chill dough; shape into balls.
Bake on ungreased baking sheets at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes until lightly browned.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar while still hot.
Makes 7 1/2 dozen.
