Mashed Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    4 to 6 c. mashed potatoes, mashed with milk and butter
    1 beaten egg
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/4 pt. sour cream
    1/2 to 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 to 1 c. crumbled crisp bacon
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except cheese and bacon.
    Place in a 9 x 13 baking dish.
    Garnish with cheese and bacon.
    Serves 8. Can do ahead.
