Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 can fruit cocktail
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1 stick margarine
    3/4 c. white sugar
    3/4 c. canned milk
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1 c. firmly packed Angel Flake coconut
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix first six ingredients together until well mixed.
    Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix together brown sugar and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts.
    Sprinkle over cake batter and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Just before cake is ready to come out of the oven, in a small pan mix the margarine, white sugar and canned milk.
    Boil for 2 minutes, remove from heat and add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, coconut and vanilla.
    Spread this mixture over cake as soon as cake comes out of the oven.
