German Potato Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

10 large potatoes, cut in quarters
2 onions, cut in halves
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
olive oil (as needed for frying)
applesauce (as desired)
Preparation

Chop potatoes, onions, eggs, flour and baking powder in a food processor and chop.
Put a generous amount of olive oil in a pan and heat.
When the oil is hot drop a ladle of the potato mix into it and press flat.
Turn when the edges turn brown.
Serve hot together with applesauce.
Not to be made ahead or frozen.
Serves 4.
