Cherry Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. graham crackers, rolled fine
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. butter, melted
    1 qt. of 2 cans sour cherries
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    5 Tbsp. cornstarch
    5 egg whites
    3/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Melt butter; mix crackers, 3/4 cup sugar and cinnamon.
    Pat 3/4 cup in bottom and sides of large buttered pan.
    Mix cornstarch and 1 1/4 cups sugar.
    Add to cherries.
    Cook until thick and clear. Pour over crumb mixture in pan.
    Beat egg whites until stiff; add 3/4 cup sugar.
    Spread over cherries.
    Cover with remaining crumb mixture and bake 35 minutes at 375\u00b0.
