French Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 c. Romano or Parmesan cheese
    2 c. onions, thinly sliced
    4 c. brown beef stock or bouillon
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    Preheat Dutch oven over low heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Add butter and melt. Saute onions until brown, about 5 minutes. Sprinkle flour over onions and stir until well blended. Add beef stock, salt, pepper, sauce and garlic powder. Simmer over low heat, covered, for 45 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
