Little Sputnicks (Drop Donuts) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 beaten egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Mix ingredients together until well blended and drop by teaspoons into hot fat.
When they are brown on one side, they will turn themselves over.
Fry until golden brown on both sides. Remove from fat and drain on absorbent paper.
Shake, while warm, in small brown bag containing either powdered sugar or granulated sugar.
You can add cinnamon or nutmeg.
