white sandwich breadcrumbs
complete pancake mix
vegetable oil
Preparation

Cut each slice of bread into 4 strips. Make your pancake batter as directed on the box, but with a little less water for a thicker batter. Heat the oil in a deep-fryer or large frying pan. Dip each slice in the batter to coat and deep-fry until golden brown on each side. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar to decorate or just dip them in your favorite syrup.
