Spring Lamb Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 leg of lamb
    1 minced onion
    2 Tbsp. red currant jelly
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    dash of ginger
    dash of powdered cloves
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Do not wash leg of lamb, but rub well with a cloth dipped in vinegar.
    Salt and pepper the lamb; fry in hot fat on all sides. Add minced onion.
    Roast in medium oven at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes, basting frequently.
    Shortly before end of roasting time, mix sugar, ginger and cloves; put on roast.
