Ingredients

6 to 8 medium onions, sliced
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. milk
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
fat (for frying)
Preparation

Peel onions.
Cut in thin slices, separating the rings.
Make batter of the flour, milk, egg and salt.
Have frying pan of fat ready.
It should be just hot enough to brown a cube of bread in one minute.
Dip in onion rings, a few at a time, and fry for a few minutes.
