Banana Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. oatmeal
1 mashed banana
1/3 c. raisins or chopped pecans
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. cooking oil
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Combine flour, oatmeal, sugar and baking soda.
Stir in raisins (or nuts) until well coated with dry mixture.
Combine vanilla, oil, egg and milk.
Stir banana and cinnamon into liquid mixture.
Gradually combine the dry mixture with the liquid mixture until moistened.
Grease muffin tin with shortening.
Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes.
Makes 6 large or 9 regular muffins.
