Tortellini Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. tortellini (frozen or prepared)
    5 c. water
    1 large can whole tomatoes (pureed)
    1 can tomato sauce
    2 carrots, cut into small pieces
    1 stalk celery, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 c. green and red pepper, finely chopped
    approximately 2 chicken bouillon cubes
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. thyme
Preparation
    In stockpot, put in 5 cups of water.
    Bring to a boil and add bouillon cubes (see package directions).
    Turn down heat to medium.
    Add pureed tomatoes, tomato sauce, spices, carrots, celery and onion.
    Cook for 5 minutes.
    Stir mixture to keep from sticking.
    Add finely chopped pepper and tortellini.
    Cook until pasta becomes tender.
    Turn heat down to simmer and continue to simmer for about 10 minutes so soup thickens.
