Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can asparagus
    1 can English peas
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 c. cheese (Velveeta works best)
    2 tsp. butter
    slivered almonds or crackers
Preparation
    Drain asparagus and peas and place in casserole.
    Put remaining ingredients (except almonds or crackers) in saucepan and heat until cheese is melted.
    Pour over asparagus and peas. Sprinkle with almonds or crackers.\tBake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
