Chocolate Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. quick oatmeal
1 c. margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. cocoa
1 1/3 c. flour
Preparation

Pour water over oats and margarine; let stand 15 minutes. Stir and add both sugars and slightly beaten eggs.
Blend.
Sift soda, cream of tartar, cocoa and flour together and add to batter. Stir until well blended.
