Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1 lb. 12 oz. tomatoes, undrained
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    12 oz. cooked shrimp
Preparation
    In pan, cook onion and green pepper in butter until soft. Stir in remaining ingredients, mixing well. Bring to a boil. Cover and allow to simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
    (If you're using uncooked shrimp, cook 10 to 15 minutes.)
    Stir occasionally. Serve over rice. Serves 4 to 6.
