Canadian Meat Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground pork
    1 lb. hamburger
    2 medium onions
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    1/8 tsp. sage
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. allspice
Preparation
    Place ingredients in pan; add enough water to cover.
    Mix well.
    Simmer 1 hour (add more water if needed).
    Place in unbaked pie crust (juice must be used; it may seem excessive but it is not).
    Add top crust; slit crust and bake until brown, about 50 minutes at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0.
    Makes 2 (9-inch) deep pies.
    Can be frozen.
    Good served warm or cold.
    Good served with or without applesauce or catsup.
