Mashed Potato Cake(Put Your Leftover Mashed Potatoes To Good Use.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    1 c. mashed potatoes
    1/2 c. sour milk
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 eggs
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    In a large bowl, beat sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs, and beat well.
    Add potatoes, beat and add milk, continue beating. Sift dry ingredients in a separate bowl, then add gradually to mixture.
    Stir in nuts and vanilla.
    Place in lightly greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes or until done.
