Lemon Sponge Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. butter
    3 eggs, separated
    3 Tbsp. flour
    juice and rind of 2 lemons
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter well.
    Add flour, juice and rind of lemons and milk.
    Next, add egg yolks.
    Mix all thoroughly.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Pour into greased custard cups or casserole dish.
    Place cups in pan of water and bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour or until brown like custard.
    Serve cold with whipped cream.
