Cheese Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. grated cheese
    1/3 c. shortening
    7/8 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients; add cheese.
    Cut in shortening.
    Add milk and stir to form soft dough.
    Knead lightly on floured board. Roll to about 1/4 to 1/3-inch thick.
    Cut with biscuit cutter or a tomato sauce can with both ends removed (8 ounces).
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 450\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes or lightly brown.
    Makes about 18.
