Okra Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. okra
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 can tomatoes, cut up
    1 can tomato sauce
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. basil leaves
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    In skillet, brown ground beef.
    Set aside and if necessary, pour off fat.
    Combine okra, onion, tomatoes and tomato sauce in Dutch oven or large saucepan.
    Saute for 10
    minutes.
    Add meat and seasonings to vegetables, mixing well.
    Simmer over medium heat about 20 additional minutes.
    Serves 4 to 6.
    Excellent with corn bread.
