Orange-Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. coarsely ground cranberries
    2 c. flour
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 orange (juice and rind)
    1 egg
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Mix cranberries with 1/4 cup of the sugar and put aside.
    Put orange through the food chopper.
    Put juice and rind in measuring cup and fill with boiling water to make 1 cup.
    Add the butter, egg and sifted dry ingredients; mix well.
    Fold in nuts and cranberries; pour batter into a well-greased pan.
    Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Cool on rack.
