Butter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 carton heavy whipping cream (at room temperature)
1 large jar
several willing children and 30 minutes
Preparation

Pour cream in a jar; cover top with plastic wrap and seal with the lid.
Sit in the floor and shake, shake, shake.
Pass the jar when tired!
Discuss the changes you see as you shake!
The butter will form a mass separate from the skim milk.
Pour contents into colander; drain.
Place butter on plate.
Add salt, if wanted, and enjoy!
