Squash Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sliced zucchini or yellow squash
    1 c. plain salt
    2 c. white vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. mustard seed
    2 tsp. celery seed
    2 c. small onions, sliced
    2 green peppers, diced
    2 red peppers, diced
    1 gal. water
Preparation
    Make a brine of salt and water.
    Put in squash, onions and peppers.
    Let stand for 1 to 2 hours.
    Drain, rinse and drain well.
