Spirals And Scampi - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. (8 oz.) rotini or rotelli (uncooked)
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    3/4 lb. raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped shallots
    1 clove garlic
    1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
    1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce (optional)
    1/4 tsp. grated lemon peel (optional)
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. chopped broccoli (optional)
Preparation
    Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain. Meanwhile, in large skillet, melt butter and oil; saute shrimp, shallots and garlic until almost done.
    Add remaining ingredients and continue cooking until shrimp is tender.
    Stir in the hot cooked macaroni.
    Makes 4 servings.
