Whole Wheat Batter Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. (1 pkg.) active dry yeast
    1 1/4 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
    1 Tbsp. honey OR brown sugar
    2 c. white flour, unsifted
    2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 c. whole wheat flour, unsifted
    2 tsp. butter, melted
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Add honey (or brown sugar), half the white flour, salt and oil.
    Beat 2 minutes on medium speed, or 300 vigorous strokes by hand, scraping sides and bottom of bowl frequently.
    Using a spoon, blend in the whole wheat flour and the remaining white flour.
    Cover with damp cloth and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 30 minutes.
