Italian Beef Patties - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 c. water
2 Tbsp. minced parsley
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. basil
1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
1 medium green pepper, sliced into rings
Preparation

Combine beef, salt, garlic, 1 teaspoon tomato paste, egg, bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.
Shape into 6 patties.
Brown patties on both sides in a skillet.
Drain excess fat.
Combine remaining tomato with water, parsley, oregano and basil.
Pour over patties.
Top with Mozzarella cheese and pepper rings. Simmer, covered, 15 to 20 minutes.
Serve on noodles.
