Taco Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 (1 lb.) picante sauce (hot or mild)
    1 (1 lb.) Cheddar cheese, shredded
    approximately 1/2 head lettuce, shredded
    1 to 1 1/2 tomatoes, diced
Preparation
    Mix softened cream cheese and picante sauce together for bottom layer in a 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
    Shredded lettuce for next layer.
    Shredded cheese for next layer.
    Top with tomatoes. Chill until firm in refrigerator. Serve with chips.
