Cherry Streusel - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (16 oz.) can pitted sour red cherries, undrained
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. skim milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg white, slightly beaten
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. corn oil margarine
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation

Combine cherries and 1/2 cup sugar in an 8-inch square baking pan, stirring well.
Combine egg white, milk and vanilla, stirring well to blend.
Pour over cherries.
Combine flour and brown sugar in a small bowl, stirring well to mix.
Cut in margarine with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Stir in nuts. Sprinkle crumb mixture over top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve warm.
Yields 12 servings.
