Garden Green Beans With Bacon - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. fresh green beans, trimmed
4 slices bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 c. sliced 1/8-inch red onion, separated into rings
3 tsp. margarine
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. seasoned salt
Preparation

In 3-quart saucepan, place beans and bacon.
Add enough water to cover.
Bring to a full boil.
Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until beans are crisply tender (20 to 25 minutes). Add remaining ingredients and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for another 10 to 15 minutes.
Makes 6 servings.
