Beef-Barley Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 lb. beef stew cubes
    8 c. water
    2 bouillon cubes
    1/2 c. hot water
    1 (14 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    1 c. chopped carrots
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped celery
    3/4 c. barley
    1/4 tsp. parsley
Preparation
    Brown the beef in oil.
    Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 1 1/2 hours until tender.
