French Quarter Green Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 cans French-style green beans
3 Tbsp. butter
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 tsp. dried onion flakes
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (2 1/2 oz.) pkg. sliced or slivered almonds

Preparation

Drain green beans.
Melt margarine in 3-quart saucepan.
Add soup and cream cheese.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until cream cheese is melted and mixture is smooth.
Remove from heat.
Stir in green beans, onion flakes, salt, pepper and cheese. Spoon mixture into casserole dish sprayed with Pam.
Top with almonds, sprinkle with paprika.
Bake, uncovered, at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Can be made a day ahead and kept in refrigerator until baking.
