Tamale Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. ground beef
1 garlic clove, minced
bell pepper to suit taste
onion to suit taste
1 can corn (creamed or whole)
1 can tomatoes
1 (No. 2 1/2) can tomato juice
1 1/2 c. corn meal
chili powder to suit taste
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 can pitted, halved ripe olives with juice
Preparation

Brown onion, bell pepper and ground beef together and drain. Add corn and tomatoes.
Simmer 20 minutes.
Add corn meal gradually with tomato juice, salt and chili powder.
When this has been mixed thoroughly, remove from fire and add olives.
Pour into 2 medium casseroles.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 20 minutes.
Cover with grated cheese and bake another 10 minutes.
Tastes better if sets overnight and reheated the following day.
