Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe

6 apples, thinly sliced
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 to 5 Tbsp. sugar (depends on apple tartness)
3 c. flour
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. orange juice
Preparation

Combine sliced apples, cinnamon and 3 to 5 tablespoons sugar; set aside.
Combine 2 1/2 cups flour, sugar, oil, eggs, salt and orange juice and beat well until batter is smooth.
Grease a tube pan and alternate layers of batter and apples, ending with a layer of apples on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 2 hours and 10 minutes.
