Cherry Cheesecake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1 (9-inch) graham cracker crust (chocolate cookie crust is good also)
Preparation
    With electric mixer, combine powdered sugar and cream cheese until smooth.
    Blend in Cool Whip.
    Pour into pie shell and pour canned pie filling over the top.
    Cover and place in refrigerator several hours until cool and firm.
