My Mama'S Coconut Cream Pies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 baked deep dish pie shells
6 cups milk
2 cups sugar
3/4 c corn starch
1 tsp salt
9 egg yolks (save whites for meringue)
1 14 oz and 1 small pkg Angel Flake Coconut
2 tsp flavoring (lemon or vanilla)
2 sticks butter
Preparation

Put milk in heavy boiler and heat on low until warm-not hot. Beat egg yolks well and stir into milk.
Stir in corn starch mixture.
Turn heat up to medium cook until thick, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and stir in butter until it melts, add coconut and flavoring.
Put into pie shells.
