Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. peanut butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. white syrup
    2/3 c. sweet milk
Preparation
    Mix sugar, syrup, salt and milk together in saucepan (an iron skillet is better).
    Cook to soft ball stage, when dropped into cold water, the syrup forms a soft ball when rolled between fingers or 236\u00b0.
    Remove from heat until thickened.
    Pour into a buttered 8 x 8 x 3-inch baking dish.
    Cool.
    Cut into 1-inch squares.
