Cider Beef Stew Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 lb. beef stew meat, cut into pieces
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 c. apple cider
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    2 large carrots, cut into pieces
    1 large potato, peeled and cut up
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 celery rib, cut into pieces
Preparation
    In bowl, combine flour, salt and pepper; add beef and toss to coat.
    In large pan, brown beef in oil.
    Add cider, water, vinegar and thyme; bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 hour and 45 minutes or until meat is tender.
    Add carrots, celery, potato and onion; return to a boil.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
