Cooked Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. white sugar
    1 stick butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. evaporated condensed milk
Preparation
    Place ingredients in a pan; cook until mixture separates from sides of pan, approximately 2 to 5 minutes.
    Stir constantly to prevent scorching.
    Cool about 5 minutes and pour over cake.
    Do not spread.
