Ingredients

4 c. rolled oats
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
pinch of salt
4 c. (1 qt.) buttermilk
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, melted
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine oats, flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt in large bowl.
Blend in buttermilk, eggs, melted butter and vanilla.
Mix well.
Let batter stand for 30 to 45 minutes. (Batter will thicken; do not blend in additional liquid.)
