Alice Perry'S Carrot Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. Crisco oil
4 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. coarsely grated raw carrots
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Combine sugar, oil and eggs.
Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add oil to mixture and beat at low speed for 1 minute.
Add grated carrots, nuts and spread in greased oblong pan.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour, or until cake tests done with toothpick.
When cool, spread with Cream Cheese Frosting.
