Almond Chicken(Crock-Pot) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 chicken bouillon cubes
    1 slice bacon, diced
    1/2 c. celery
    1 small onion, sliced
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2/3 c. slivered almonds
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 to 1 lb. chicken (boned breast), cut in 1-inch pieces
    4 oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 c. rice
Preparation
    Pour chicken broth into crock-pot.
    Cover; put on high.
    Brown meat and vegetables.
    In skillet, put butter, bacon and chicken. Brown on all sides.
    Remove chicken and bacon to crock-pot. Saute celery, onion and mushrooms in skillet until slightly limp.
    Put vegetables in crock-pot with soy sauce.
    Stir well.
    Cover and cook on high for 1 hour.
    Serve over hot rice.
    Garnish with toasted almonds.
    Serves 4.
