Quick Tortonis - cooking recipe
Ingredients
- 
                            1 pt. vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
 
1/2 c. frozen whipped topping, thawed
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/3 c. fine dry zwieback, bread or vanilla cookie crumbs
1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
- 
                            In a medium bowl, combine the ice cream, whipped topping and 1/4 teaspoon almond extract.
 
Spoon mixture into 6 fluted paper baking cups.
Place cups in cupcake pan cups.
Combine crumbs, sugar and 1/4 teaspoon almond extract; mix well.
Spoon crumbs on top of tortoni mixture.
Freeze until firm.
