Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. scalded milk
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
nutmeg
Preparation

Slightly beat eggs, then add sugar, salt and vanilla. Gradually stir in scalded milk. Pour into pastry shell and sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake for an hour or until custard is set in the middle.
